need advice

Post by isaacbrayden »

i need some help. the other day i was driving in the pouring rain. my car started hydroplaning and i slammed into a curb at a weird angle. the right front tire hit first and it made a weird noise. after that my car felt like my tires were going opposite directions. i kept having to move the steering wheel side to side to stay on the road. my steering wheel has a lot of play in it now. and when i turn my right tires squeals horribly. i took off the tire and nothing looks broken, but im thinking maybe some thing got bent. i would appreciate any help. this my daily driver so i need to get it fixed. 1992 rs

Would the tie rod cause excessive steeringwheel play? :confused2:

It could be as simple as your alignment went wacky because of the hit. But the tie rod could have been damaged.

Alignment would make steering wierd, plus result in different wheel angles.

Take it into a mechanic or tire shop and have them look at it.

sounds like it could be a bent control arm.

evrything is fine. dont worry about it, it should get better by its self.

A mechanic will just try to sell you something you dont need, they dont know anything about fixing cars.

well I was on the roof of my house running around up there, when I fell off

I fell 2 stories and landed on my leg kind of funny.

Now I cant seem to walk straight, and there is alot of pain comming from it.

I had a friend look at it and he said it looks like the bone is trying to poke through the skin.

you guys got any advice, could my leg be broken? what should I do?

well after a week it still hasnt gotten better.

I have talked to a bunch of people, and a coupple have suggested I go and see something called a "dock-tore"(spelling?)

they say he fixes broken people for a living.
anyone know a good dock-tore in the Ontario area?

what can I expect to pay for this type of repair to my leg?

P.S. last night I hit a curb in my car, I took it to a mechanic today to see what was wrong and he had to replace the inner and outter tie rode ends and do a 4 wheel alignment.

Good thing I had the common sense to get it looked at right away by a mechanic,or I may have worn my tires out, or gotten into a bad accedent.
