I just installed, 18" x 7.5 rims with 215/35/18 tires, and my ride is incredible... It is smoother then stock, a civic i owned, a s10 i have owned, and my moms 2000 cougar... My ride is 110% better and corners like a charm. I will post pics asap. So if your in question about fitment, no worries... I could fit a 19" rim on my mx3 with no mods to the fenders or rubbing.... :2thumbsup:

It is smoother then stock
BWAHAHAHAHA... If 18's are smoother than stock-- then you must have had some rubber bands on those stock wheels.

Sorry-- no possible way (physically, scientifically, mentally, whatever...)that your ride with 18's can be smoother than stock if you drive an MX-3.

You probably had bent wheels and or out of balanced tires. That's been proven...

Hey man,

We know that 18x7.5's will fit-- many people have done that already. I am glad that you ave too. I wish I could afford 18's.

Listen, I am just asking how a 35 series tire can be a softer ride than a 50 or 60 series tire. I am sure it handles better without a doubt-- but sifter?? Thats what I am questioning.

Not sure, they are Nankang NS-2's 215/35/18
Rims are 18" x 7.5 ADR Sokudo 8 +42mm Offset, I have Mazdaspeed Adjustable struts, and ground control coils with eibach springs.

Now the stock rims, the guy who owned the car before me did have an oddball tire size on the stock rims, which was a ruff ride. But it does feel better then my s-10, civic and my moms cougar. it was a 205/55/15 tire on my stock rims.
