Coilovers AND Strut in one?!?!!

Ok, i need help here. My friend (we will call him TeaCup) has the below coilovers for his 240sx...

**Notice how it's the strut AND spring in one?

Whereas all of us on mx-3.com use coilovers that look like...

**Noice how there is no strut :|

So what's the deal here?

the above is an adjustable strut aka. real adjustable coilovers.

the others are just conversion kits for struts.

coilover sleeves: Ground Control, stuff for the MX-3. Must be paired with your choice of strut.

coilover "system": everything combined, little room to customize, usually not rebuildable/revalveable. usually more expensive, but idiot proof for people who don't care.

K.A.W. in germany makes real coilovers for our car BUT it cost ALOT more than dropzones but they pay you a refund if you deliver your old strunts. you can ofcourse mod dropzone and gorund control coilovers like Luc St. Pierre did
