Front springs on rear?

Well the subject pretty much sums it up I want to know if I could put a set of front srings on the back of my car? ;)

my guess would be no..i have a set of ST springs in my basement and they are completely different in size and in height

not unless you have coilovers. why would u do that anyway if they are not?

I would do that becaus eI noticed the fron springs have more coils since they bare the wieght of the engine and by putting them on the rear it would be stiffer, Yes ?

again, no you cannot switch the springs, but im not stopping you. if thats what you wanna do go for it.

just delete your own messages. there's a little icon above each of your messages that represents a little note pad (edit/delete post) click it then check the delete box then edit post and you're done.

and no you can't put front springs in the back or vice versa. The struts are different too.

Why would you want to use front springs on the rear anyways?
