ok well im going to a wreckig yard tomorrow to pull some parts off a v6.

one of the parts i want is the lower tie bar now ive heard this can be used on the 4 is that correct ?
also i know this part is going to be hard to remove without jacking the car up or using air tools because the blots holding it in will be really tight and rusted.

what are my chances of getting this thing off teh car ? :welder:

Why not purchase one from SRD, they make a really nice aluminum bar for a good price. It looks great and is as functional as the OEM one on the V6.
The 10x the price might have something to do with it.

If you go again just use a torque wrench it comes right off. By the way I did it and it works so nice felt the diff right away.

A torque wrench eh...tell that to mine. I had it past 130 lb of torque and the bolts hadent moved. I had to jack the car up on the very tip of a wrench extenion to bust the damn thing. When I did it, the car went up about 6" before anything happened.

But I did get it off...nice and rounded. Had to get a new pair of nuts.
