I have a knocking sound when I turn the wheels while moving only usually in the morning and after the car has sat and starts to get cold again but not usually while the car has been moving for awhile I think it is the cv axle what do u mxers think.

Sure does sound like a CV joint. If it's been happening for a while, I would replace the whole axle, instead of the just the boot.

THanks for the replies my mechanic says he thinks it is the cv axle so I'll make an appt n4spde I am from the falls to down town area were abuts are u.
