Unstable rear end

Has anyone had this problem before. My rear end seems very unstable when I go over bumps at highway speeds. It seems to be more noticable on the driver's side. I've also notice a slight creeking noise comming from the rear driver's side area but I can't seem to pin-point it. Any suggestions? I'm heading to Vancouver for the annual West Coast meet and I don't want any accidents. :(

Check your rear struts. I recall hearing that if you push down right over the strut, and it takes more then 2 bounces to settle, then its gone bad. Try that, but correct me if im wrong.

It seems to settle pretty quick, just seems a bit sticky. It probably still is the strut. I hope that's not expensive. :(

How pricey? Did you do it yourself?
[ July 04, 2003: Message edited by: WyldSide ]

Just look into the zx2 struts, they are cheap and if your going through a shop consider lowering springs at the same time because instalation stays the same even if you throw on new springs.

I was thinking of pricing out the Tokico struts with maybe Suspension Techniques springs. I only plan to lower it 1.5".
[ July 05, 2003: Message edited by: WyldSide ]
