Strut Compatibility?

Are the GS & RS shocks interchangeable?<p>Can I use the shocks from a 323 Protoge on my MX-3, they look identical to me?<p>Please help!

All MX3, 90-94 Protege and 323, 91-present Ford Escort struts are identical and will work with your car.<p>But the tokico SR struts from the ZX2 have a shorter shaft which is larger in diameter, you will need to use the ZX2's thrust bearings if you use these struts. But they are easy to modify into fitting and are also metal which doesn't wear out like the stock plastic ones.
