how can I convert from the four bolt GS pattern to a five bolt. Is there anyone that makes a kit or something to do it? Suspension isn't a forte of mine but I can do what I need to myself.

do you want to do this because of a certain 5-lug only rim/wheel you want to buy?

There's more to it than just making sure you have enough lugs to mount a rim. The offsets are going to be all wrong with the FD rims as it is designed for a rwd car and much wider tire.

so I'd need a new hubs or something designed for 5-bolt, not just some adapter?
I don't understand why FD rims can't be used on the MX-3 just because its FWD. Several Probe owners use FD rims, and if they'll fit in the wheel well without sticking out (because they're wider) why couldn't I use them?

put some universal wide fenders on the front (which would look weird) or itd be simpler to just choose a different rim or another rim that is a replica. *replicas are cheaper too*

The FD rims should fit perfectly inside the wheel well. The problem is getting them in there.
I don't understand why I shouldn't use them just because the RX-7 was RWD. Or if I can't use and adaptor and I need to replace the hub or whatever.

ohh the FD as in rx7...well i thought u meant a brand.
anyway i know for a fact that there USED to be adapter kits for civics from 4-lug to 5-lugs but a lot of veterans said they are very dangerous to use because they aren't very secure and some people have a hard time making clearance. it was one of those cheap kits like fake rotor dust shields and lowering spring compressors.

Its about offset...not about FWD or RWD. Probes, and RX-7s share about the same offset....
Your MX-3 doesnt. Infact, you'd be better off with Miata wheels.
You dont have room for them. They'll hit the strut, OR stick out pretty far. 8" wide wheels arent going under a MX-3.
