I mget some camber bolts too. Somone asked a question on yahoo groups about the rear struts and vaugh nsuggested replacing the top strut top mounts? is this the same as the upper srping perch in the front? will it come with my struts? if not where could I get new ones cheapest? thanks, im almost there, ordered a pacesetter Short Shifter today too!
-Ryan

im sure the suspension has never been worked on as it rides really harsh. The top spring perches I was tolled will come with the new zx2 struts? if not please let me know. I jsut dont want to rip apart my car and be missing somthing I need. I wont need psring compressors cause my old spring and struts wont be going back on, or do I need it to get them off the car anyways??
-Ryan

Yes, you DO need the top perches. In the previous post, i thought you meant the bottom ones (I was confused)...
And you DO need spring compressors to take apart the old spring/strut combo.

You can buy the front ZX2 spring perches instead of a lot of dremiling, but like Jesse said, you'll need the spring compressor still (mounting blocks). You should inspect the mounting blocks for wear as well.
Here's the list.
ZX2 struts
ZX2 Thrust bearings
ZX2 Spring perches OR dremel, time (~3hrs.), skill & old perches
ZX2 dust boots (maybe cut the top bump stop)
Camber bolts (Grade 10 at least if you use smaller normal bolts.)
Spring compressor
Springs/Coilovers
Any other worn/rusted suspension components.
Turpentine/WD-40/lubricant for losening fasteners.
Tools
Alignment when it's all done.

I'll be tackling my suspension soon and i'm wondering if youre using your old bumpstops? What other parts will i need to remove other than the obvious (upper mount, nuts) from the old strut assembly to put on the new one? I'm going with Eibachs on GR-2's. I was also thinkin of shaving my bumpstop and i was looking for feedback on that.
