MX-3.com

Hey i recently came across a butt load of dough to spend so i plan on doing a bunch of stuff to my car, but i want to pinch pennies whenever possible...Well, actually im goin to be buying another mx-3 to fix up and sell mine...anyways....who makes cheap coil overs that will fit the mx-3? I checked out ground control and dang they are a bit too pricey. I checked out weapon R but they didnt list the mx3 under cars that the coil overs would fit..any suggestions?

My springs are 450/350's which are quite stiff. But I like the ride. I didn't really like the price that I got from my dealer but you may have better luck. <BR>Good luck man<P>one

well i dont know much about suspension but I do know you get what you pay for. do it right the first time, and its cheaper in the long run. <BR>but thats just my 2 cents

DO NOT get the Weapon R's!!!<BR>The only coilovers for the mx-3 that are going to be worth it are the Ground Controls.<BR>I wanted coilovers awhile back, but decided that its not going to be worth it. I just lowering springs. Most people who get coilovers barely ever adjust them. Just FYI.

well what is the differences between coil overs??? And the you get what you pay for comment...well with my SOHC im not exactly goin to be flying around corners or what not..and even if i get the BPT, i still am not going to be entering any rally races or anything...

Oh, and i already tried the whole lowering springs route..i really shouldnt have cuz at the time i couldnt afford it but oh well....and i really wasnt that happy with the drop...i had the intrax "1.75" drop...the reason i have that in quotes is because that is what everyone says, but when i recieved the springs there was a paper inside saying what cars they will fit and how much they drop it, and for the mx3 it said ".75" and ".5", not 1.75 and 1.5....
