Hey everyone,<P>I went to get my tires rotated today and the shop told me the struts were SHOT...I knew they were next on my buy list...but didn't think it would be this soon!<P>I'm needing some help on combinations of struts, shocks, lowering springs. I have done plenty of research and now I want opinions or facts from those of you who have them. PLEASE! I have lots of choices, KYB, Ground Control, Eibach, Monroe (OEM), Koni, Tokico, B and G, H&R, Suspension Techniques, etc. Thanks for ANY HELP AT ALL...I just want the best bang for the buck. I plan on spending $1000 on this combination of the shocks, struts and springs. Thanks, Chris

first,this is a suspension question, so you im sure one of the mods will move it there. <P><BR>Next, you dont have shocks, you have struts.<P>finally, ok...you gave a budget, but now i need to know what you want from your suspensnion. Is this going to be for just daily driving? do you need or want adjustability in the rideheight or dampeneing? is comfort or perfromance more important?

based off what you said in your email...<P>adjustable struts just off adjustment. They are not always better, and are a waste of money if youre not going to use the adjustability.<P>For your purposes, id go with something like H&R springs and the ZX2 struts. You can find out a ton of info about the ZX2 struts by reading through this suspensnion forum. Its been covered mulitple times, and there is even an online how-to which you can find the link to.
