they wouldn't tell me they just said it was a "bolt in"<P>But what I wanted to know is if its thicker if the rods were thicker how much thicker stuff like that

They probably won't give out the dimensions, for fear that one could machine it themselves. Then they would be left responsible if something broke?<BR>Ex take a look at their crossmember, anyone with basic machining skills could make one. [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

Isn't their rear lower tie bar a hollow square shape? Whereas the OEM one is literally like a 'bar'? Goto any automotive store and check out their rear lower tie bars (probably for a honda). They generally all look the same.<P>Either way, it looks better, and is probably stronger than the OEM (although you probably won't feel the difference, but theoretically...).

I have the SRD tie bar..... it is machined from one piece of aluminium. Where as the stock tie bar is a hollow tube with the ends flattened for the crew holes.<BR>When I installed mine, I didn't notice a change in performance at all.<BR>All of the 4cyl guys I have talked to said that they noticed an imporvement over the stock setup of no tie bar.<P>hope the helps.<BR>Cheers,
