Upper Strut Bearing or Thrust Bearing

I am going to get the KYB G2 shocks and I am unsure of witch to use the mazda one is plastic but the ford ZX2 one is metal will that work with the KYB G2 <P>Do I have to change something like this in the rear aswell?<P>Thanks

use your stock one<P><BR>the only time you use the metal ZX2 one is with the use of the ZX2 struts.

you mean get a new one from mazda not use the old one right?

okay maybe the guy at the mazda dealer was trying to "rip me off" becuz i know i gave him the exact part # for those thrust bearings and he told me like $50 a piece....it really sux being a gurl sometimes..

I got one for mazdagirls car.<P>I paid mechanics cost and it was $12.00 after tax for the upper strut bearing.
