best rim size for a 2 and 1/4 drop

right now I am running stock rims with low pros and I wanted to upgrade to 16" momo racer evo 3s. can I tuck 16x7 rims or r they too wide.

you cannot "tuck" on a strut car. Lowrering the car that much PROPERLY would require more money that youre willing to spend.

protege------ I know this but what I really meant by "tuck" is that the tire doesn't interfere with wheelwell. factory wheels are 15x6 and I want 16x7. I wanted to know if those wheels will stick out and interfere with current handling.<P>assuming a max 2 1/2".

I think its time to dig out a good book refrence for suspension items too...
