Hey List
When CjThor lowered my car...which looks awesome...he noticed that my cv shaft was shot...I special ordered the shaft through Kragen they told me it would take 8 days...Jarid hooked me up with a contact. So we get the joint...We can't get the damn thing off...It was rusted so much it never budged after a air-hammer. So I took it to a shop...They want to charge me $250 USD in labor...cause it has to be taken to machine shop to press it back together. It pisses me off, but what can you do. Just a warning watch out for rust when buying a mx-3 and CV joints
JCali

are you talkikng about the hub nut? If you take the air hammer to the nut long enough, it should break free. I had to sit there for like 4 striaght minutes before the sonabitch came off.
BTW: i'm doing a "how to" for changing the axle on my site, I'll post the link when i'm done. It'll have pictures nad procedure for the passenger side axle. It is for a mazda protege, but the procedure should be the same.

Get some WD-40 (or equivilant) in there and let it sit for a while. Air hammer some more and it should break free.
