lowering springs... camber kit needed?

hey guys, i won one of those sets of Jamex lowering springs that were on Ebay like a few weeks ago ($65 seemed like a steal). anyway i got a friend who is telling me that in order to use them, i no doubt need to buy a "camber kit". first off, what is a camber kit, and second do i really need one? please help me out.
