O.k. I got some prices to drop my MX-3 about 1.5".. I will be looking at about $145each for Tokico struts and about 350plus tax for my Apex springs.. So I am looking at about $1000 can. if not more to lower my car 1.5" seems kind of funny. Is it actually worth it to spend 1000 bucks to lower my car the lenght of a short finger???????

depends why you are lowering it from my point of view.. if just going for the lowered look.. then no, I don't think it is worth it.. but by the looks of the setup you are looking at, you are going more for handling as well as looks, right? In which case the grand may be well spent.. although, are the best prices you can get? Seems kind of expensive, even from an aussies point of view...<P>@ds

KingFisher - Where are you planning to buy your Apex springs from? I also plan to buy Apex springs for the Spring, I haven't really looked into where to get them though yet.

I went with the ground control coilovers. The first time I droped it was the 1.5in drop and the back end was stable unlike stock level when it let loose on faster turns. After a while I went a full 2in for just a little better control I have only bumped the nose one time on a drive way. I am actually thinking of another .25 to .5 inch for looks. I think coilovers or the best bang for the buck. I started with Susp tech springs and blue tokico.
