Not quite sure what is causing this

Basically when I'm at full boost, I here a wooshing sound. The wooshing pulsates every second or so under full boost and full throtle.

What could it be?

I thought it may be boost escaping through one of seals, but wouldn't it eventually blow right off if that were the case?

What about the Wastegate?

Doesn't sound like the BOV...could it be letting off excess boost under acceleration enough to open the BOv but not sufficient to make it whistle?

I am stumped.

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks

im betting leaks somewhere... do you have metal piping yet?

if not then wooshing sounds like bov or wastegate but then again they have a unique noise.

All metal piping from turbo-intercooler-IM

Does this sound like something normal?

Can you ajust the spring in your bov? Its possible that the bov is slightly open under full boost because the spring cant hold the pressure back.
Also.. You must have a boost gauge.. Does the pressure go down when the woosh happens?

hehe funny enough no boost guage. I know I know, thats bad. I had it set with a shop guage and that was it.

I will give that a shot, come spring time. The beast is hibernating till then.

Thanks!
