what do i need for my mx3 to make it turbocharged?

i have a '92 mx3 1.6L SOHC and would like to make it turbocharged. What do i need to buy and how much will it cost. i'm sorta on a tight budget.

buy "maximum boost" by corky bell, it's a great book to read when you are planning on going turbo. people have listed the parts needed before, use the search button up above to search for them. your best option would be to go with a BPT motor. but there is a turbo kit available for the SOHC, but if i remember correctly it only yields 130ish HP. it was a pretty cheap kit though.

maximum boost is the turbo bible...you can get it pretty much everywhere on the net...

the kit sells for $2,000.00 USD. racing mazda offers it. you can only boost up to 4 psi but no more because the kit includes no intercooler. check it out @ racingmazda.com . honestly, i would consider doing a motor swap. in the end, you will have more power for less the money.
