I remember a company came out with a stage one turbo kit for the 4 cylinder a while ago, so i figure i can do a stage one on my klze and still be safe. I've got a Toyota turbo from a 2.4 litre engine (i think it was from a 22R) that I'm going to attempt to use. I want to run low boost!! I'm not going to buy any sort of air controller or anything like that(at least not yet). How do i set the boost? I'm going to run stock injectors, a small stock intercooler, and a bov. I'm basically trying to do a whole junkyard turbo thing, except the junkyard is my back yard :p I'm trying to keep costs as low as possible, and yes I'm aware that I'm not going to get huge gains from this set up. Any help on boost control would be appreciated. Thanks!

You mustn“t forget to get a 10:1 FMU (100-120$ on E-bay). I also will reccomend you to get a 255 lph Walbro fuel pump (90 USD on E-bay) and of course the boost and air fuel ratio gauges. If not you will probably damage your engine. You can adjust your wastegate actuator by the rod length, by the less the tension to the spring ( larger rod longitude) the low the boost will be. I set mine by accident to open the wastegate at 1 psi!!
