If you have a S-AFC and get a Haltech is the S-AFC pretty much pointless?

thanks

Haltech's boost controller sucks, it works but sucks. Pick up an AVC-R or E01 boost controller, better all around.

E6X

Still uses the same type of boost controller. Boost is controllable but not gear or speed selectable.

i agree. the haltech boost control function works, but it's tricky. unlike the other controllers out there(a'pex etc) you actually have to adjusts bars to get the solenoid to bleed off enough air to get your're desired boost level. the tricky part is that it varies throughout the rpm scale.

even if just for simplicity, go with something else for boost control.

i'd suggest getting a diff turbo timer as well, simply because in order to use the haltech for a turbo timer, you need other items(relay's, solenoids, etc.) if this is on a bpt, you don't really need a tt as the turbo is water cooled.

mclaw-precidian:
do you have a s-afc and changing to the haltech? If you do have a s-afc, are you selling it and if you are how much do you want for it?
