Would this be a good idea?<A HREF="

Also, if the car is just gonna be a daily driver then wouldn't you want more N/A power by running a higher CR with less boost? I thought I heard that if the car is a daily driver then it is kinda pointless to have lower engine power by running a lower CR and relying on ONLY boost for any substantial power? Thoughts, opinions?

its my opinion that if you bought the ZE as oppose to the DE you would keep its existing compression else you'd be wasting your money. Keep your existing ratio and if you really wanna run high boost then have it tuned accordingly

Very bad idea. You'll really jack up your valve timing by changing your combustion chamber volume via thicker gaskets. Also, 10:1 compression is fine for 7psi of boost. S2000's have 11:1 and Comptech has a 6psi Vortech *cough*ineffecient*cough* supercharger setup for it, and Sport Compact car is running a low boost setup on their 2ZZ Toyota at 11.5:1 compression. Read the V6 FAQ about compression vs boost.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I will read that. Don't get me wrong, I am not one of these people who think that the ZE is "un-boost-able". In fact, I think that boosting a ZE is a good idea. I was just wondering about what the effects of the gasket would be.
