Okay,<BR> I have been looking into buying a BPT for my car. Well, that idea has fell through and since I will be getting it in about 8 months from now I was wondering if someone could help me. I am thinking about getting nitrous to settle with right now and have mixed answers. I was wondering if Nitrous express would be better than NOS or the other way around. I am only going to be getting a 50 shot from NOS or a 35-150 shot from Nitrous Express that works for all mazdas. Which would be better and what mods would I have to complete for my engine to be Nitrous ready?

well, NOS has a VERY good reputation. They basically lead the N20 revolution. They are made by Holley which is a very good name in automotive performance. I would trust NOS more than Nitrous Express.

which is better, dry or wet?

i have heard great stuff about NOS. i don't know much about NX. and for jimmy, wet is safer. with a wet setup, it mixes gas and N20 so it burns evenly. a dry setup just puts N20 in, and is supposed to tell your ECU to put in more gas, but i don't know about it.<P>also, the only mods you need for about a 50 shot are bigger plugs and to be safe, a new fuel pump (2nd or 3rd gen RX7, or walbro 190 or 255 lph pump)<p>[ September 23, 2002: Message edited by: Paragon ]

This is why NOS is the most popular nitrous system out there. Not based on performance, but based soley on reputation (and flashy, large ads in magazines, not to mention a movie). mx is far superior to nos dry set ups are bs get a nx kit you can spray more safely and all you need is a better fuel pump and colder plugs for a 50 shot anything higher and timing is an issue you will have to back the timing off for higher than a 50 -65 shot oh ya and your clutch will fry you need an aftermarket one for sure

I put a NX system in a friends 200sx SE-R and it was the most straight forward and simple install I've done to date. It made me wanna get nitrous on mine till my B6T is done being built. I think i might... after i get a new clutch <BR>also, i heard through the grape vine from a distributor that holley is going out of business.. thats why the victor x is 2 months late on being released...dont know if its true or not but my boss is kinda upset about it because he hasnt gotten his(B16/B20 vtec should run 13.5 out of the box) <BR> [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

I have a NOS setup on my car and it works fine. My bottle opener doesn't leak. I have the universal import wet kit and havent had any problems. It was a simple kit and I had it on in about 2 1/2 hours including mounting the bottle. I have pics if you want em.
