you can get some good stuff from junkyards. the big ones even carry warranties on some items. look for one w/rear end or side damage.

other than that, it has to be custom.

Finding someone to build a custom manifold is a difficult task. I would do some research on this in your area. There is a company in Europe which builds custom manifolds for the Bpt and B6t heads. Larsen motorsports<p>[ August 31, 2002: Message edited by: jaydog5678 ]

I live in Canada and here you can buy a gtx manifold from the Mazda dealer for $280.00 dollars Canadian thats like $180.00 us. There are other thing on top you have to consider like gaskets and tax but you should go to the dealer first......

you can have a custom one made by anyone that can weld. it is an extremely easy task for the mx3. log types are the easiest, but equal length arent that bad either. if anyone is interested i can have them made equal length or log type. my machinist does them all the time and i cant imagine that they would be to much

i highly doubt that cast is better than stainless or ceramic treated mild steel. he also makes them out of weld els which are stronger and more affordable than cast. he makes the headers for super mods and top fuelers----i'll leave it up to him to decide what is better

How much can cost a custom exhaust manifold (quality) and is it that hard to find somebody to do it?

the most expensive is around 550-600 bucks . that is for an equal length tuned manifold. a cheap one is usually around 250-300.
