pipe sizes for turbo SOHC

Post by ikedogg »

i'm heading up to the shop tomorrow and was wondering what size pipes i should go with for the intercooler and exhaust. should 2" be sufficient for both applications?

2.5" downpipe would be good.
2" IC piping would be what I'd use.
Are you making a turbo manifold also?

anything past the turbo should be as big as you can make it. You dont want ANY restriction. All backpressure/exhaust gas velocity arguements are null and void within the realm of turbos.
