is it possible to swap a 5spd rs tranny into an automatic mx-3 by just taking out the old auto tranny and putting in the new one with the clutch and transmission? like a simple bolt-on? or do i have to do other stuff like chaning driveshaft and etc.?

It ain't a simple bolt on. lol. It's much more complicated than that my friend. It ain't something you wanna try yourself if you have no clue what you're doing and just going by what people say to you. If you have a mechanic friend, get him to help but most importantly, buy the workshop manual (the big thick blue binder)!<p>[ April 18, 2002: Message edited by: Rich ]

i'm well aware that it's not a simple bolt on. i meant 'bolt-on' as a term as if i had all the parts needed, is all i have to do is take out the old tranny and put in the new one?
