Mid-Atlantic Meet...sometime in summer?

Anyone from the DC area interested in a meet? I don't know what kind you'd be interested in, but I was thinking of one of the following:<p>1: Meet at a 1/4 mile strip like MIR or Capitol Raceway and hang out all day (on a saturday)<p>2: Meet up at a state park and have a cook-out!<p>3: Meet at one of our houses and have what I call a "tech meet" where you come and help install parts on other people's cars. (this worked VERY well when we had one for the Protege guys in Glen Burnie).<p>4: Other ideas??<p>
Date<p>My MX3 won't even be running until late-July at the earliest, I was thinking early August? We could always have it earlier but I'd show up in my Festiva or Protege instead.<p>Who<p>I'll update this section with a list of people coming later on. (if there is interest)<p>Please suggest a date & time and location and type of meet you would want! I'm hoping we can get 10 cars at least out of this meet!

I'd be up for something in the Maryland area sometime next month or August, but for me, a Sunday would be best since I work most Saturdays. However, I can do it on Sat, July 12, but that may be too soon. Otherwise, I'm good for any Sunday. <p>As for other places to meet, I've always wanted to have one in Dewey Beach or Ocean City, but of course it's a little far for most people. Anyone up for an all-Mazda/MX-3 meet there? Or just MX-3s? Whatever! Just an excuse to get to the beach, cruise Coastal Highway and talk cars!<p>Anyway, just my 2 cents. Yay?
