Well anyways my buddies own a performance shop and and pick J-spec engines up pretty cheap. The reason....they do not mark up the prices for personal gain. Last time that I checked they had put a KL-ZE in a red mx-3 sleeper a few months ago. For around $1000 bucks I believe. Don't quote me, but is was SOOOOO much cheaper than anywhere found on the net.

Seneca, what shop are you talkin about? I'd be interested in a KLZE swap all done in and out for 1000 bucks! Let me know, cause i'm in ottawa.

ALrighty let me clarify..around $1000. I was shooting from the hip, and was quoteing a rough price that he gave to me, but I assume that in actuality it should not be too far off (concidering corksport is offering an engine for over $2000 after exchange and shipping) If you guys want I'll ask Graham and check on and exact price. Hows that? I'll have it posted hopefully by tomorrow.

Ok Guys here's your canadian prices for KL-ZE engines. THey can be purchaced by my friends shop for $1300! Thats for the engine, brought to their shop. ANd they usually charge around $500 for a complete install. Sorry I took so ling to get an answer...they're very busy ppl! The shop is located in Pembroke, Ont.

1800 for a ze swap?! Wish we could get that kind of price range for a BPT or BP.

Hey well I'm sure that he could get those shipped in as well! WHat kind of car do they come out of??? I mean it's not that I don't know what a BPT is...but I do not know it's origins!

The BP came out of these cars: 1991-1995 Escort GT, 1990-94 Protégé LX(us) GT(Canada) and 1990-1994 Mercury Tracer LTS. I believe the BPTs come out of 323 gt's.
