bought a GRADE-B carbon fiber inverted hood off of eBay about week and a half ago. recieved today. hood isnt in that bad of shape only minor surface problems. happy about that. went to put the hood on... HOLY $hi*!!!! first had to drill holes for windshield washers (thats no problem) although make sure you dont drill hard and start with a VERY small bit (i already knew this). then bolted on, holes stripped out almost instantly, 1st was my error, next holes WERENT! had to get bigger bolts. okay, now its on, closes nice except passenger side is lined up perfectly, driver side is over an INCH away! wow. took top fender bolts off redrilled holes and pulled fender in, now that lines up GREAT! ONLY problem left. driver side of hood sits level with car and ontop of lights very nice. driver sits up about an inch from headlight half way up CF hood. question.... HOW  can i pull that down that much? hood pins cannot do it, too much to pull down on that smll area. im thinkin i gotta do something with my hood bracket? maybe im missing something very easy? lemme know guys! (and yes ive learned my lesson with this, but im a fairly good fabricator :welder: once i figure it out ill make it look nice, ill post pics too.) thanks guys!

somethin aint right if you had to move the fender, which is probably causing the rest of you alignment problems, not sure?

hmmm.... that doesnt seem right? you dont have too do that much to put on a carbon fiber hood. seems funny but, has the car ever been in a fender bender of some sort? if so, i think your fender, or front end isnt aligned correctly? thats what happened when i tried to put on a bodykit.

i bought off ebay and it fits just fine... no holes for washer nozzles so i'm putting the washer sprayers from another car on the wiper arms... the only other hting is that its so light i had to put hood pins on cause it kept poping up at high speeds.. not all the way just as if i'ld pulled the hood release but wanted to be safe

it was in a light fender accident about a year ago to the passenger side (which lines up real nice). also when it was fixed (by my dad) he lined everything up realll nice. something isnt right but the guy WILL NOT return the hood, so i still need to get it lining up right. ANY ideas whatsoever of how to bring that corner down? its sooo weird... (and i wont give up until it looks nice haha!) i love my car too much to give up on her...

another thing im not really sure about is how would it not line up correctly (saying its my car) if the stock hood lined up perfectly? so wouldnt it have to be my CF hood? i dunno here, lemme know what u think guys, thanks again!
