a) we don't need dual exhaust
b) to do a true dual you would need a line of each exhaust manifold, each with its own cat, each with the EXACT same bends and length so that it doesn't affect performance. And even then the pipe size would only need to be about 1.5 each on ZE. (since a 2.5 single exhaust is plenty)

I think it looks really tight. I'm going to run dual from my resonator back. Yeah, it's simply for looks, but I like how it'll look on my kit.

this is just my opinion but I like to see small imports with one exhaust but big domestics with 2..I don't know why but in my head it's suppose to be like that :p

I don't think there is room to run dual exhaust under our cars. I think the one on the drivers side may be a fake for looks. I'm not sure though.

If someone knows post a picture of the exhaust under the car so we can see how it is routed. :welder:

i dont know, i like the symmetrical look that a dual exhaust gives a car... when i look at the back of my car, or especially another car w/ a huge single tail pipe, it looks unproportioned, at least to me... it gives me the impression of unbalance... i think his big pipes are overkill considering it's dual, but if i got a dual exhaust, i'd go w/ some smaller pipes... oh yea, but i love the Porsche Boxster's look... it has a big single pipe, but is positioned nicely right in the middle---and the bumper is molded to fit it...

i'm almost positive it's just for looks, there'd probably be some major work for a true dual exhaust...

if i had that rear bumper, i'd probably stick in a second fake exhast tip, just for looks, though i would've gone for the flat oval type, i think it would've looked better. otherwise i wouldn't worry with it.

is it just me.. or does that yellow-green precidia's pipes look photoshopped? :confused2:

but in general i think dual exhaust looks sick on any car.. but on the mx3 i'd think it would be hard to get around the gas tank safely

Ya Sam, very photoshopped! lol but I think the dual looks cool, its not needed at all tho. But its not overkill as barry said. I think rice overkill is automatic folding mirrors *cough barry* :D
