Another MX-3 lost last night. (Crash pics)
Hey Everyone,
During our weekly MOCA meet last night, on the way back one of our members houses-- Mike had a car pull out in fron of him on a blind curve and then slam on their brakes.
To avoid hitting the car, Mike slammed on the brakes, pulled the ebrake, swerved into the other lane, saw a car coming the other way and swerved back.
He then hit a curb, missed a telephone pole by less than a foot, hit a sewer drain thingy and the car flipped over and landed in a ravine (big ditch) and slid 30 feet of its roof.
Mike is okay (Thankfully) but his car is totalled. Mike bought the car new back in 1993 and it was his baby.

Mike was not speeding or racing, BTW.

I think he was just doing everything he could do to try to stop...
I am sure it all happened in about 5 seconds so he didnt have too much time to even think about it.

He didnt even stop. he had to have heard the screeching tires and seen Mike flip off the road too. Mike said that he locked eyes with the guy right before the guy pulled out-- so the dud definatley saw him, but didnt even stop.Originally posted by 992mmx3:

The bad thing is, if Patrick hadn't of gone back to look for Mike, No one would have found him for a few day probably. The ravine was at a funny angle and was pretty deep.

Re: Another MX-3 lost last night. (Crash pics)
I believe in some states the guy who cut him off could be charged with not helping in a life threatening situation. Might want to check that out, and then if you can get him thrown in jail for it, I'd stalk the area where the accident happened, and wait for the guy to pass again and get his plates and info. If there is no law against ignoring a major accident, then I'd just track him town and beat his *** with a crowbar.
