- rear hatch garnish is missing a bolt (going to be fixed)
- windshield is f*ed
- DS window goes up crooked sometimes
- side-view mirrors show unpainted areas when folded in
- front/rear windshield stripping keeps coming off
- rust is appearing on PS door
- interior panels are super dirty
- rotors are starting to rust
- a few leftover dents and dings on PS side
- rear shaved keyhole isn't really shaved
- redded taillights are starting to crank
- headlight tint is starting to fade (good thing for me. new plans)
- front lip is ghetto
- rear strut bars are ghetto
- DS seatbelt doesn't work
- taillight bulbs and turnsignal bulbs keep burning out
- tires are worn out
- ghetto front speaker mounts
- interior aftermarket gauge wiring is a mess
- mazdaspeed radiator cap doesn't fit perfectly

Fuel gauge busted, (check my thread on that one please)
wheels had bad powder job, and look like crap,
needs new exhaust
needs new interior dash pieces,
shifter is loose
front lip is busted in the middle
reverse lights had to be wired to a toggle in oder to work,
indiglow gauges look like crap, (dont ever buy off ebay)
bad speaker wiring, they come in and out
needs new speakers in the back
floor mats are worn out,
hatch garnish is dead and gone,
rust on rear wiper arm
front axles are gone, makes an awful noise when turning,
brakes need to be replaced,
int. ceiling needs to be repainted
pops and spits smoke when shifting hard (still havent figured out wtf that is, nobody here can give me an answer)
few minor scratches
front windshield is impossible to get clean, always has smudges or streaks or something, no matter how many times and ways that i clean both sides.
has those crappy APC "xenon" headlights, that dont have a high beam,
needs a new cone air filter,
however, i have a BUNCH of parts stacked up in my garage just waiting to go on it. new axles, new brake pads, another exhaust, etc, and im buying a new shifter, getting the bumper fixed, replacing water pump, and all kinds of other projects that have waited for spring. come june, its going to be one bad *** MX-3, winters are hard on it. But my little sleeper will be ready again soon, :2thumbsup:

My car hasn't really gone anywhere in a good year or so, due to needing some parts and fixing and my needing to wait till I have some spare change to take care of these problems.

- brakes! Front rotors severely warped, new pads all around, and the left rear caliper dragging

- exhaust, there's a hole rusted in the pipe between the cat and the muffler

- electrical, battery's dead and when I do jump start it and try to drive it around teh complex, if I stab the brakes, the engine tries to stall and the wipers sweep the windshield once (?) - thinking this should go away with a completely charged battery.

And of course it's uninpsected, unregistered, and uninsured, so legally it can't go anywhere anyway.

I've already started accumulating parts (rotors and pads) to get these things taken care of and we'll be back on the road real soon.

- Rear hatch key lock doesn't turn (can't open hatch from outside)
- Front lip is busted in the middle
- Dash lights are dim in the heater control area
- After filling gas, it takes a few minutes for the needle to go up
- Hatch cover is cracked in the middle
- Winter tires don't fit on hub perfectly
- Electrical problems *fixed*
- Passenger door needs to be slammed really hard to shut (weather stripping is falling off)
- Rock chips (very small rust spots)

Haha lets see...

Well other than a car accident which took a goo dportion of the drivers side...my car is just fine!!!

-disty went ($700 cad)
-a little oil in one of the cylinders (common with mx3's)
-a little rust in the wheel well (repairing in a month with the drivers side!)

Other than that I have taken very good care of my baby. I would expect what has happened to happen seeing how the car is 11 years old! Like c'mon parts can't last forever!

BnSracingc....said...exhaust, there's a hole rusted in the pipe between the cat and the muffler

mine had the same thing. i got stopped by the local police and was asked if my muffle was legal i said of course it is. 4 months later i find out its not the sweet sound of my stainless steel muffler but that same hole rusten in the pipe between the cat and the muffler. found out when i took it in for an inspection just for fun. cost me $40 bucks to replace the pipe but with a larger diameter.
