Hey ppl.

I recently purchased a new shifter for my automatic transmission. It's got 1 button on the top, but I'm still in need of 1 more button to plug my "hold" button, any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

hey..did you get the chrome one with the button on top?...i got that one and it didnt fit over the shaft..so i took it back...you can probably put the hold button next to the steering wheel, instrament panel under the gauges..dont know..if you didnt get the chrome one...which one you get?

The hold button in a mazda (if it works like the other mazda autos I know) basically forces the transmission to stay in 3rd at highest (no shift to 4th) until it is about .5k away from redline. this is to give you more power when going up hills, etc.

I bought the "Automatic Billet Shifter Knobs" from Canadian tire.

Real carbon-fibre shifter knobs
Constructed of heavy cast aluminum
Unique design is great for customizing your vehicle
Easy to install on most stickshift levers
Includes adapter to fit most domestic and foreign cars and trucks
For automatic transmission vehicles

that's what I have. Not the same as yours, no?

Cheers :)
