Don't quote me...but I don't see why it would. It should be fine. I mean, you don't have too many options!

Yes, all the scratches will show and look like crap. I sanded my windows with a 400 grit (pretty fine) before the tint thinking it would help adhesion to get 12 years of crap off the window. Instead, I made lots of little scratches that the tint make look like crap. I'm now just looking to get a vinyl wrap done on the hatch glass to cover it up.

Hey, my tip for you is to get that mirror-like window tinting, i got it for an SUV i used to have, and it does a much better job of covering scratches than normal tinting, and it looks cooler.

Dont for get alibath in the UK we can only tint a slight amount. One place I went to said any sort of tint on the side windows is illegal.

the law in the uk has just changed>
tinting anywhere apart from the rear window can result in a producer and a vdrs - vehicle defect rectification notice>
which makes it so you gotta have the tints removed and take the car to an mot testing station to prove the work has been done.
my bro has dark tints all round> never been stoppd but the law has only beren in for a short time.

Ok...I just saw a friends car taht had interior scratching. YES it shows...and quite terribly up close. It's one of the good from far, but far from good scenarios!
And I've had a body shop around here say that yes, you can use steel wool on glass. Just as long as it's VERY VERY fine
