prime and paint
just got my sides, and wanted to get them painted just before i put them on my mx..i could just take them to a body shop but i want to save money..so do i sand it prime it then paint it or prime it sand it then paint it? i thought that when i ordered them they would already come primed but they are white and sandy so i know i need to do some work on them.

Re: prime and paint
Without the experience and the equipment, I would have to say that you should have it professionally done.
I know that you are looking to save money, but you will NOT want to compromise the quality of the looks of your car by painting your skirts yourself.
I would get them professionally done and color matched. You don't have a spray gun or a compressor - and while you could do it without those, it's just not worth the outcome to save a few bucks
