I finally recieved my rims guys. 17X7 Gunmetal Motegi MR7's. they came in last night. ill have more pics posted tommorow. and should have some of my coil overs and stuff to. But ill have more rim pics up tommorow. tell me whatcha think with them and a 2003 mazda protege yellow mx3 and the extras listed in my sig.

I love the way these rims look on mx-3 althought I could be alittle one sided as I have silver ones on mine lol

I really like the look of those rims as well...in fact I've been looking at buying a set of Konig Tantrums which almost look identical.

So, my question is, are there any differences in price or quality between the Konig or the Motegi wheels? In my searches I've seen very little price differences (all about $137/wheel). Any reason to pick one manufacturer over the other?

Also, if you don't mind me asking, what's the best deal you can find on those rims?

i got my wheels for about $88.75 per wheel. I know a site where u can buy the mr7's in a 17X7 size(white, silver, or charcoal) for $455 shipped to your door. thats excluding tires.

Is that $88 each american? Almost every performance shop in the toronto area have carried these rims for a few years now. A couple of summers ago it seemed like everybody had a set of them cause they were the biggest rims at the cheapest price. They were then and still are now available for like $90cdn each at most tire and performance shops.

Whats the best size tires to run with my 17's? so where they wont rub, scrape or ne thing at all when i turn the wheels? cuz im lookin for the best set up. and how much would they cost?

205/40/17 can't remember i may of got 40's or 45 but i got the kumo ecsta supra's really good look... i got them off www.tirerack.com

I have 205/40/17 Bridgestone Potenzas 950RE tires on my rims, which appear to be the exact same rims you just got.

P.S. You might want to think twice before you go putting dropzone coilovers on you're car bud. There is a reason they are like 1/5 the price of GroundControl...and it's not just the name.
