MX-3.com

I was wondering if any of you knew of other factory steering wheels that fit the MX-3? I'd like to have a newer type, Miata wheel, with the Mazda log in silver in the center - plus my OEM leather one is just kinda showing its age. I painted my Mazda emblem in the stock wheel but of course that didn't work out quite as well as I had planned - so I figured if there was another OEM that'd work, maybe I'd try and hunt one down in the junkyard.. (while lookin for a glass sunroof )

The Protege 5 will fit. I have the Miata Nardi one right now.

got pics? does it have cruise on the wheel or were you able to integrate the original buttons etc, and how'd you get ahold of it? Guessing they cost an outregous amount if you bought a new one from Mazda etc.

I got the wheel on e-bay and the airbag in a junk yard. I don't have pics. as of yet but I will soon. I took out the cruise control but if you have it, you can put it on. I don't know how to but Madbuck knows.. He's the reason why did the swap. He also has a SE.

ive kinda wondered the same thing for a while now, and a friend of mine just got a Mazda 3, and one of those steering wheels would look awesome in the MX.

yeah I have been looking at that Mazda 3 steering wheel a couple of times . but does anyone know if its possible to put it on a MX without heavy modifications?

I have a 1993 MX-6 air bag/cruse steering wheel on my MX-3.

Car looks badass, I like the P5 steering wheel a lot. How can you remove the airbag? I was thinking of getting a different OEM steering wheel but was worried about deploying the bag when I removed the wheel. Any tips on removal?


BTW: any mazda steering wheel from like 1982-present will fit any mazda, the splines/diameter are the same.

So doesnt matter what year of what car? It can be integrated?

And Es, where did you get those crome door handle? Look sweet.

don't remember the year but those are miata door handles..they do look nice...can someone remind me the year?
