will they come pre bent or will we have to bend them ourselves? also, will they come with anything to mount them to the floor like the 02 celicas floormats?

These mats are shipped flat. By shipping them prebent it raises the costs by about $15 b/c they need a shipping carton and the size is larger. We ship the mats bubble wrapped and covered with cardboard front and rear.

The mats just sit in place on the floor. B/c they are not flexible like a fabric mat they stay put and don't need anything to keep them from sliding up into the firewall.

To bend the mats simply mark the area where the bend is in your factory mat and transfer that to the aluminum mat. Place the aluminum mat over the edge of a tabletop and press down on the top. Bend gently until the desired bend is made. Test fit in the vehicle and make adjustments until you are satisfied. Typical first time install takes 5-10 minutes tops.

I just thought that you did yours yourself. Cause i've seen the diamondplate before at some hardware store for like $10 for a 2X2ft sheet, I just couldn't remember what store.

where could we get them bent without messin up the finish? oh and craig i called your company up the othere day and they are still saying 3 months till the kits get back? whats up with that?

Whoever you talked to must have been misinformed. The estimates I have from the manufacturer are late feb/march on the drift kit with the other bumpers a month later.

As for diamondplate the material is expensive just check out what lowes charges for the stuff.

As for bending them you don't have to take them anywhere to be bent. They bend very easily by using a counter top to create the line where you want the bend. They are 1/16" so you'll definately be able to handle it. A girl at our shop installed her own mats in her zx2 in less than 10 mins.
