i locked myself out of my car

can anyone help? i just locked myself out of my car, (93 mx3) and dont have a spare key. i'm such an *** .
i have a wire hanger and a slim jimmy thingy... can anyone help me????

You can go to the Mazda dealer with your vin# and get a copy made. It's gonna cost ya though.

a tow truck guy can open it for under $15.

funny man...bt i wouldn't do it. that happened to me before too and same as you, no spare key. I agree with the "hanger" style...a friend helped me open it and took us about approx. 5 minutes to open the car.

- So grab a hanger(instead of rock) straigth it up and make a hook shape on the end of it that will go inside the car.

- then pick a pretty much strong/thick knife and maybe a piece of cloth or something to protect the car's paint.

- to the top part of the door is where you can hack a bit of space so the wire will fit to go inside the car.

- if you have power lock it will be easier but if you don't you will have to use the hook shape end of hanger wire..when i say "hook" you probably get the idea right?

make sure someone is on the other side of the car and will tell you to where and when you will move the wire to reach the lock knob there....when you hear him yell PULL! you have to pull ok..jk but true.

Do the dealer key idea, its the best and easiest way. It costs us 10CDN$ in canada, and you get a brand new key.
