I'm looking for replacement sidemarker bulbs. At PIAA's website they don't list any 194 series bulbs, but the 168s look identical to 194s. And at this site:

They list a 194 by PIAA, but with the same part number as the 168s on the PIAA site. Can anyone tell me if they are in fact the same bulbs, or if they will at least work? Thanks.

So the 168s would draw too much power for the side markers then?

no, they should be fine, just a little brighter.

Sweet, I'm glad I read this thread.

I recently removed the bulbs out of my cluster so they wouldn't interfere with the indiglo gauges. Turns out, I cant see the needles or mileage / trip odometers anymore, and I'm in the process of buying some new bulbs and some red "bulb condoms" to illuminate them.

If 168's are brighter, then that will help offset the dimmer output from when I put the rubber bulb covers on them.
