Re: Stock Shift knob noise
Like it's behind the centre console around the radio and heating controls. In 5th gear at a decent speed on the highway it rattles. I tried pulling everything out and securing everything, but it still happens. If you shift it to one side it stops, until if vibrates back to its resting spot again. I dunno what to do. <p>one

Re: Stock Shift knob noise
I have the same thing, always happens in 5th gear. I figured that my shift fork could be slightly bent ![Shrug ](./images/smilies/shrug.gif)

Re: Stock Shift knob noise
i have this problem in any gear but the worst in between 3 and 4 k rpm... my dad said he thought it was either because my bushings were wore out in the shifter or my clutch but i doubt that has anything to do with it. anybody know? for now i just have to crank up the stereo to stop the annoying vibrating sound, hehe
Re: Stock Shift knob noise
I have it too. seems like the shifter it rattling inside the shift knob. I fixedd it. well sort of. haha I was gettin very angry with it and I took some of that silicone that you use in the bathroom and whackedd the inside of the knob full of it and then screwed it back on. It worked for a while and the silcone isnt permanent but my buzzing noise is back now. ![Mad ](./images/smilies/icon_mad.gif)
