Blue headlight housings

hey every body. i havnt postedin a while. i have modded my headlights to have a blue caseing. i think they look awsome. and i get a lot of people that have to take a double take when i drive by them. what do u all think?Image

hey looks cool. i did the same to the housing but only the side part and i used a gloss black.. but how is your driving at night? do the blue housings mess up your headlight visibility?

to be honest i have no trouble w/ cops. at night they look like a really bright hyper white<p>from a distance they kinda look HID-ish. but as far as visibility go's its like a hyper white. i am using silver star lights in them as well.

He most likely used a film tint like you use on your windows.<p>Either that, or a paint (same type they use on those crappy "HID look-a-like" bulbs).<p>Nate DogDo you only drive in the city? I sure hope so, because your high beam must suck major *** now.<p>~A

i used a transparent blue modle paint that i got at wallmart. my high beams dont suck at all. i am using the sylvina silver star headlights.

ill go out on a limb and say he probably doesnt know alot about headlights and bulbs, so doesnt really see a diffrence. However im sure it decreased the lights ability to light the road up
