Loose Airvents =(

Hey guys. I have question. My 96 mx3 gs airvents in on the dash board are all loose and end up pointing down after a bit of driving. Any idea how to make them stiffer so they don't move?

That's funny that you ask because we just talked about this last week. Bascially we decided that gluing some black felt on the top and bottom of the vent would help it stay in place. In the meantime, you can push the vents back against the dash, and they will stay locked in place at least for a little while.

you can get some really thin foam tape (sticky on ONE SIDE ONLY)
take your vents out, apply them not on the ball, but the inner side of the housing that holds the ball style vent. this will apply pressure and stiffen the vents movement.
