i just came back from the dealer today and i found out from the parts department that the protege lx uses the same disk brake as the mx-3.just wanna let u guys know that.

That's correct, I had Protege brakes on my car for a long time and didn't even know it until I went to get them replaced this spring.

would be nice if whole protege suspension would mount to mx3, proteges suspension is one of the best handling on the road, that's what i've read in consumer reports anyways, they compared it to vw jetta if i am not wrong and I think some honda, and protege outscored both of them.
