I just picked up some racing seats and I was wondering how everyone made the brackets for their seats because I know that some of you put seats in your cars. I have the reclinable ones and they are on sliders. Any help would be appreciated.<p>Thank,
Jeff

I haven't done this myself, but i believe you just mate them up to the brackets from your old seats, do a search 'cos i remember reading it not so long ago

the way I did mine was to use the stock rails and make an adaptor using 2 strips of steel to bridge the gap between the 2 rails. The rails are not level with each other so one sits lower than the other. I had to make spacers to raise the 1 side up so they were level. Making cardboard templates helps to mark drill holes. 1 set of holes is for the adaptor to rails and the 2nd set is for adaptors to seats. The seats now sit about 1/4" higher than stock but is not visually or physically noticable.
