Painting taillights??
i want to do something besides tinting, or the altezzas... can anyone tell me how to paint the taillights?? and what kind of paint to use?? thanks...

to paint the tail lights, you first of all have to take them off, then use tape and tape off the edges and the other parts you do not wish to paint, then useing very very light coats, you lightly spray them down, keep doing light coats till you are happy with the colour. the paint i used was "cherry apple" and its made by "testors", you can find this stuff at model shop.<p>peace

It isn't cherry apple...It is candy apple red and its not regular testors. It is in their translucent line. I used the entire can for two lenses.

This doesnt exactly apply but its an alternative for people with altezas and is something im doing when my car is black.
