Maybe he have painted it with Krylon. If you want to paint your inside go to http://www.barrykclark.com/paintparts.htm. I have painted my interior and looks very nice.

im sorry but dont paint the outside of ur steering wheel. It will wear right off and look horrible.

mine's doing just fine and it's been almost 6 mos. of course i didn't paint it, i dyed it!

Ive never worked with car interior dye so i dont know how it turns out, but if you say its working on ur car steering wheel then it must be pretty darn good. Just whatever you do, NOBODY spray paint your steering wheel(at least the outside edge)
