Clean Wheels
Clean Wheels
I'm not a moron. I know the obvious answers: break parts cleaner, SOAP, gas, all that kind of stuff. Well, I can NOT get the breakdust crap off my factory wheels!! I bought the car after sittin a long time. Can NOT for the life of me get the stuff off. I have tried scrubbing with SOS pads and gasoline!!! And brilliant ideas would be excellent!! Thanks.
Re: Clean Wheels
I used a pressure washer and some heavy duty degreaser and that worked, but if it's not coming off with sos pads and gas then i dont know if that will help eiter.....

Re: Clean Wheels
anybody know if these things (such as sandblasting) will damamge my OEM wheels? How much damage can these things TAKE?? And thanks guys.
Re: Clean Wheels
I bought a couple of cans of rim paint by dupli-color and painted my stock SE wheels. they came out much better than I thought it would. No more brake dust on there anymore it just wipes away like it should on new rims. by the way I used fine sandpaper to sand away the brake dust stuck on them then cleaned with degreaser before spraying them. 8 Bucks and I have shiney new rims.
Re: Clean Wheels
