Well i just had a bad day. Had my car out of town and on the way home, about 40 km away from it my car popped out of 5th gear on the highway into neutral and started grinding and grabbing and jerking around like crazy while the clutch was to the floor... Pulled over, had her towed home, put on a lift and dropped the transmission out last night. Plug was out of the bottom of the tranny and dry as can be and new clutch (installed 3 weeks ago) was in about a thousand pieces. Fun stuff eh? lol. Just had to vent that and was wondering if the transmission was the cause of this or if it was the clutch. Either way i think they both need replacement now.

hopefully the install was done by a professional mechanic and not yourself..(not saying that you can't) because if it was you should be getting a new tranny and clutch for free.

well luckily my uncle is a mechanic (owns a transmission shop actually) and he and my dad put it in. So it didnt cost me much in the first place and wont cost me much to replace, but it was done right. They think it was either a defective clutch or the transmission was leaking fluid somehow, which makes sense because i did notice a small leak on the ground. Meh, a few stupid mistakes costin me money. lol. And the clutch will most likely be under warrenty but i'll hafta pay for a tranny.

ahhh, i have had my car back on the road for two days and get sideswiped by some old lady in a ford taurus!!! man i don't have any luck whatsoever. She's saying it was my fault too when it was clearly hers so it looks like i'm screwed over once again. 700 dollars worth of damage to get the body shop to fix up all the scratched paint. I hate old drivers! grrrrr!

or how to turn off the blinkers, or that you don't need to have wipers on when it's not raining.
